Job summary

Meta is seeking a Research Engineer to join its Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) team within Meta Superintelligence Labs. The role focuses on safety, deepfake mitigation, and AI provenance, contributing to state-of-the-art algorithms and open research in a globally distributed setting.

You will push the boundaries of AI provenance, collaborate with researchers and engineers, and help bring research innovations into Meta products and frameworks for the wider community.

Qualifications

• Experience in research or applied research in AI-related areas such as machine learning or deep learning.
• Ability to communicate across functions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience deploying AI solutions in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform research to tackle unsolved real-world problems and push the state-of-the-art in AI provenance, including watermarking.
• Drive software design, implementation and evaluation of research solutions.
• Work with a globally distributed organization spanning several expertise areas to integrate research into Meta products.
