Location Overview:

Based in the 8th arrondissement and within the Parisian Golden Triangle, our beautiful Art-Deco era office benefits from luxury modern workspaces, an abundance of natural light and is easily accessible by public transport.

Role Description:

The successful candidate will work with senior management and other team members to produce reporting and analysis packages for senior management forums and committees and contribute enhancements to reporting and data tools and metrics. The role requires close engagement with business-facing risk managers on portfolio analysis/commentary as well as collaboration with the global team and other stakeholders outside of risk to maintain and improve our governance framework.

Responsibilities:

  1. Production of daily and periodic risk reports and analysis
  2. Work with LoB risk managers to produce analysis and understand portfolio drivers
  3. Assist in maintaining, improving, and building out a governance framework to support reporting routines & infrastructure
  4. Coordination of materials for consolidated reporting to meet both internal management and Regulatory requirements
  5. Collaboration with Market Risk Technology to improve and develop tools to support firm level risk reporting and analysis
  6. Interaction with various support functions outside of Risk
  7. May manage a small team of analysts or own key reports and or processes
  8. Produces regularly scheduled reports including stress and back testing and responds to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests

What we are looking for:

  1. Finance, risk or compliance background
  2. Solid academic background, which may include a postgraduate qualification
  3. Good quantitative skills and ability to work with complex financial data
  4. Good people skills demonstrated across various communication styles (both written and verbal)
  5. Knowledge of financial markets and understanding of financial derivatives
  6. Ability to multi-task and prioritize across several competing demands, meeting tight deadlines
  7. Previous experience in market risk or working directly with the Front Line and performing risk analysis is desirable
  8. Effective team player
  9. Intellectual curiosity
  10. Excellent problem-solving skills
  11. Highly motivated with the drive and potential to learn from others
