Greenvolt Next France is seeking a Permitting Coordinator to coordinate all permitting and licensing processes for renewable energy projects in France, ensuring compliance with local regulations and timely approvals to support development and construction phases.

The role involves liaising with authorities, preparing permit dossiers, monitoring timelines, and coordinating external consultants while tracking regulatory changes that may impact projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Urban Planning, Law, or a related field.
• 2-5+ years of experience in permitting, licensing, or regulatory processes (renewable energy preferred).
• Solid knowledge of French permitting procedures and regulatory landscape; fluency in French and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office; GIS tools are a plus.
• Driving license.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all permitting and licensing processes for renewable energy projects in France.
• Prepare, compile, and submit permit application dossiers (urban planning, environmental, grid connection, etc.).
• Liaise with local authorities, municipalities, grid operators and regulators throughout the permitting lifecycle.
• Monitor permitting timelines and proactively manage risks, delays, and bottlenecks.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with project technical specifications.
• Support development and engineering teams with regulatory constraints and permitting requirements.
• Track regulatory changes and assess their impact on ongoing and future projects.
• Coordinate external consultants (environmental, legal, technical) involved in permitting processes.
• Maintain up-to-date permitting trackers and provide regular reporting to internal stakeholders.
• Support due diligence processes and ensure documentation readiness for project financing or acquisition.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and land-use regulations.
• Participate in project planning to align permitting strategy with overall project timelines.
