Job summary

Climate17, in partnership with an established US investment platform, is hiring an Associate into its Renewable Energy Asset Management team in Atlanta. The role covers monitoring performance and supporting reporting across a diverse portfolio of utility-scale solar, storage, and emerging technologies.

This is an early-career opportunity to gain exposure to project finance, tax equity, and investment management, working alongside developers and investment professionals in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in renewable energy, asset management, finance or investment analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Understanding of renewable energy investments and US tax credits.
• Familiarity with project finance, tax equity or renewable energy contracts is advantageous.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial and operational performance across renewable energy investments.
• Support investor reporting, financial analysis and portfolio valuations.
• Assist with transaction closings, funding requirements and investment documentation.
• Review financial statements, project reporting and cash flow distributions.
• Work alongside developers, project sponsors and investment professionals.
