Qonto is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for our Storage team to keep databases resilient, safe, and always available. You will operate and improve banking-grade storage infrastructure—PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka and Elasticsearch.

You’ll build self-service tooling for backend teams, handle incident response, contribute to AI integration, and work under Damien Cupif, Storage Engineering Manager, with ownership from day one.

Qualifications

• Production PostgreSQL experience and strong reliability mindset.
• Hands-on with Redis, Kafka, and Elasticsearch in production.
• Practical use of AI to speed up debugging and operation tasks.
• Ability to ship features for internal platform tooling.
• Calm, rigorous approach to incident response on stateful systems.

Responsabilités

• Operate and safeguard banking-grade storage like PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka and Elasticsearch.
• Own incident response and root-cause analysis when performance issues arise.
• Define and prioritize backup and disaster-recovery scenarios with Risk & Compliance.
• Build self-service tooling to spin up storage resources quickly.
• Contribute to making storage APIs safe and traceable for AI agents.
