Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Full Stack PHP Developer to lead the architecture and development of a new product catalogue and quoting platform from the ground up. You will build scalable systems capable of ingesting, processing, and maintaining millions of product records from multiple sources.

You will combine deep PHP and Symfony expertise with strong data modeling skills to deliver reliable product information management, robust APIs, and flexible quoting functionality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level with PHP 8 and Symfony.
• Experience with product data management and large-scale data pipelines.
• Strong data modeling and relational DB design (PostgreSQL, ORM).
• Proficiency in REST APIs, asynchronous processing and caching.
• Experience with web crawling, data quality and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and development of the product catalogue and quoting platform.
• Design data models for products, variants, pricing, and discounts.
• Develop PHP 8/Symfony backend and REST APIs, with React frontend integration.
• Build data ingestion pipelines for millions of records from multiple sources.
• Develop web crawling systems to gather specs, images, and data.
• Implement asynchronous processing with message queues and Redis caching.
• Ensure monitoring, logging, error tracking, and production reliability.
• Lead performance optimization and scalability improvements.
• Deliver customer-facing quoting capabilities with robust UX.
• Collaborate with data specialists and developers; own technical decisions.
