Jobgether is seeking a Ruby Script Developer based in France to build and maintain web applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails. You will collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions, with exposure to Vue.js, JavaScript, and SASS/CSS.

The role combines backend development with frontend work, including cloud deployment, version control, and modern software engineering practices in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional Ruby scripting experience.
• Strong Ruby and Ruby on Rails proficiency.
• Experience with Vue.js or similar frontend JavaScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with Heroku deployment and cloud management.
• Good Git and collaboration practices.
• Proficiency in SASS/CSS for styling.
• English communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Experience with CircleCI or automated testing is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop Ruby scripts and applications aligned with business needs.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and scalable code using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Develop and maintain frontend components using Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Deploy and manage applications using Heroku and support reliable cloud-based application operations.
• Follow Git version-control best practices and collaborate effectively within a development team.
• Create and maintain SASS/CSS stylesheets to deliver consistent, functional, and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Apply common software engineering design patterns and development principles to produce high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and incorporate feedback from peers.
• Contribute to improving development processes, methodologies, and engineering practices.
• Stay current with developments in Ruby, web development, and related technologies to continuously improve technical capabilities.
