Qualifications
- Enrolment for the duration of the internship in a MSc in Physics, Telecom/Electronics Engineering, Photonics, Quantum Technology or closely related field.
- Strong knowledge of photonic integrated circuits and how to benchmark photonic devices.
- Experience with standard optics laboratory equipment and Python scripting for automation.
Responsibilities
- Optical measurement of PICs using bulk optics and fibre components, with automation.
- Electrical probing of PICs and optical packaging.
- Python scripting for data analysis and measurement automation.
- CAD design for fabrication of mechanical pieces to support setups.
- Development of electronics for equipment control.
