Job summary

Quandela is seeking an internship in the AIps-AI team to perform resource estimation for quantum computing projects. You will assess hardware requirements, including QPU size, and gain hands-on experience with fault-tolerant architectures and quantum algorithms.

The role is part of a collaborative team and offers exposure to cutting-edge quantum software tools, with potential for remote work and monthly internship compensation.

Qualifications

• MSc student in Quantum Information Science, Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with quantum error-correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures is a plus.
• Experience with quantum software tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough resource estimation for a commercially relevant problem.
• Estimate required quantum hardware resources, including QPU size.
• Develop knowledge of fault-tolerant quantum computing and related algorithms.
• Adapt methodology to Quandela’s architecture and code.
• Evaluate resource requirements across problem sizes.
