Job summary

Alignerr seeks a Principal Clinical Scientist (AI Training) to bring senior clinical trial expertise into the development of regulator-ready AI training data. The role is fully remote as an hourly contract, requiring deep regulatory knowledge and the ability to shape how AI reasons about clinical evidence.

You will design protocols, review trial results, and ensure alignment with FDA/EMA expectations, while providing expert feedback to AI teams.

Qualifications

• Senior clinical scientist with hands-on experience designing clinical trial protocols for regulatory submission.
• Deep expertise interpreting clinical data for major regulatory agencies (FDA, EMA, or equivalent).
• Strong command of clinical research methodology and biostatistics.

Responsibilities

• Design and review clinical trial protocols for regulator-ready training datasets for AI systems.
• Interpret and audit clinical trial results for accuracy and regulatory relevance.
• Evaluate AI-generated clinical analyses for scientific soundness and regulatory alignment.
• Provide expert feedback shaping how AI models reason about trial data and outcomes.
• Flag gaps or misalignments in AI outputs with regulatory expectations.
• Work independently and asynchronously on a flexible schedule.
