Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Electrical Engineering Expert to help train and improve AI models remotely on an hourly contract. You will design challenging problems, author gold-standard solutions, and audit AI outputs to ensure technical accuracy and safety.

The role emphasizes asynchronous, self-directed work, with 10–40 hours per week. Applicants should hold a Master’s or PhD in EE (or be pursuing one) and bring deep expertise in circuits, control, power electronics, or signal processing.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Strong foundational expertise in VLSI, control systems, power electronics, telecommunications, signal processing, or electromagnetics.
• Ability to clearly communicate highly technical concepts in writing.
• Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing mathematical equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation.
• No prior AI or data annotation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging problems spanning circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, electromagnetics, and embedded systems to stress-test AI reasoning.
• Author gold-standard solutions, providing rigorous, step-by-step technical benchmarks for AI learning.
• Audit AI outputs—evaluate AI-generated code, circuit diagrams, and proofs for accuracy, safety, and compliance with standards (IEEE, NEC).
• Sharpen AI reasoning by identifying logical flaws and offering structured feedback to improve model thinking.
• Work asynchronously with full autonomy over your hours.
