Job summary

Alignerr seeks a Physics Subject Matter Expert to train and improve AI models. You will design advanced physics problems and develop rigorous solutions for verification, spanning mechanics to quantum topics, and assess AI outputs for accuracy.

This fully remote hourly contract offers flexible hours (10–40 per week) and an opportunity to work with leading research teams on cutting-edge AI projects, contributing to meaningful scientific advancement.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or closely related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills across advanced physics domains.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly in writing.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more.
• Develop rigorous, step-by-step solutions demonstrating expert reasoning.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, logic, and solution quality.
• Collaborate with research teams to refine benchmarks from undergraduate to Masters level physics.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve AI model performance.
