This fully remote, hourly contract role requires rigorous scientific training and an uncompromising eye for physical truth.

Design advanced physics problems, author golden solutions, and audit AI reasoning to improve physics-informed AI behavior, with independent, asynchronous work.

Formación

• PhD-level expertise in physics for AI data testing and model evaluation.

About The Role

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience needed — just rigorous scientific training and an uncompromising eye for physical truth.

What You'll Do

• Design Advanced Physics Problems — Craft PhD-level, open-ended problems spanning classical mechanics, electrodynamics, statistical mechanics, and quantum mechanics that demand multi-step reasoning and rigorous mathematical derivation
• Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write precise, step-by-step "golden responses" with perfect units, constants, and logical flow to serve as the benchmark for AI evaluation
• Audit AI Reasoning — Evaluate AI-generated solutions and simulations for physical consistency, identifying where models "hallucinate" physics that violates first principles
• Refine Model Behavior — Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI systems develop physics-informed reasoning — respecting boundary conditions, conservation laws, and real-world constraints
• Work Independently — Complete task-based assignments asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Holds a PhD (completed or in final stages) in Applied Physics, Physics, Engineering Physics, or a closely related field
• Deep mastery of the core pillars: Classical Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, and Quantum Mechanics
• Exceptional ability to explain complex physical phenomena and mathematical derivations in clear, structured English
• Uncompromising attention to detail — units, scientific notation, and the logical structure of a proof all matter to you
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No prior AI or machine learning experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, scientific dataset evaluation, or academic benchmarking
• Proficiency with computational tools such as Python (NumPy/SciPy), MATLAB, or COMSOL
• Background in research, academia, or technical writing
• Familiarity with AI or LLM evaluation workflows
