Job summary

Kyber, an open-source SDK and platform developer based in the Paris area, seeks a senior network software engineer to design and optimize critical components and address performance and security concerns. You will debug at kernel and user levels, write solid documentation, and participate in architecture reviews.

The role emphasizes cross‑platform work across Linux, macOS, Windows, and embedded environments.

Qualifications

5–10 years of professional software development experience focusing on network programming.
Embedded or constrained environments experience is required or beneficial.
Familiarity with media pipelines, real-time communication, or streaming infrastructure.
Knowledge of kernel-level networking or custom transport implementations is a plus.
Experience working with Linux, macOS, Windows, and embedded OS cross-platform systems.
Strong autonomy, rigor, and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize network system components for Kyber.
Investigate and resolve performance, memory, synchronization, and security issues.
Conduct advanced debugging (crash dumps, kernel debugging, stack analysis).
Write clear, durable technical documentation.
Participate in architecture decisions and code reviews.
Monitor Windows internals and system-level tooling.
