Job summary

Beacon Biosignals is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer in France (Paris hub) to join our analytics and ML domain, building, deploying, and maintaining models that analyze brain and biosignals for sleep and neurological therapy development. You will work with data scientists, neuroscientists, engineers, and clinicians.

The role requires 4+ years in ML/DL, PyTorch proficiency, and deploying algorithms to production in regulated health fields.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in ML/DL with production experience in regulated fields.
• Experience with DSP and statistics for appropriate tool choice.
• Proficient in PyTorch for training, development, deployment.
• Familiar with transformers/ViT and large-scale modelling.
• Strong practices: testing, version control, code reviews, documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end biosignal-based algorithm development for medical devices.
• Choose and develop suitable methods per problem, including DL and alternatives.
• Improve internal ML tools and introduce new architectures for rapid experimentation.
• Document, test, and ensure user-friendly, well-documented algorithms.
• Present results to stakeholders and support client engagement.
• Support client projects to shape algorithm impact for customers.
