Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an IS Trainer and Informatics Specialist to apply healthcare informatics to EMR development and staff education across the agency. You will develop training for the EMR and other applications, provide in-office and remote IS training, and collaborate with Epic analysts to improve clinical home health workflows.

Minimum qualifications include a BS in CS or MIS, a Massachusetts RN or PT license, and at least three years of certified home health experience with OASIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS or MIS, or equivalent experience.
• Massachusetts RN or PT license required.
• Minimum three years in certified home health, including OASIS experience.
• Education role experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze problematic issues, test potential solutions, and promote resolution.
• Develop and revise education related to the EMR.
• Provide IS training in the office and remotely.
• Coordinate with the Epic team to implement and educate on workflows.
• Advise Epic analysts on improvements needed for clinical home health workflows.
• Support staff on EMR documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for orientation and continuing staff support.
• Apply clinical knowledge to improve EMR efficiencies and workflows.
