Job summary

AfterQuery is a health data governance lab that builds evaluation data for frontier AI models. We hire RHIA/RHIT credentialed HIM professionals as contractors to author and grade health data scenarios, focusing on privacy, information release, and record integrity.

You will craft reference answers with regulatory reasoning and assess model outputs for disclosure risk. This is a fully remote, asynchronous contractor role with ongoing project work.

Qualifications

• RHIA or RHIT credential (AHIMA) in good standing.
• 2+ years of HIM experience in a provider, payer, or health IT setting.
• Depth in release of information, privacy, record integrity, or data governance.
• Clear written English for documenting policy and compliance reasoning.
• Able to commit at least 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Author realistic HIM scenarios covering privacy, release of information, and record integrity
• Write reference answers with the regulatory reasoning behind each decision
• Grade model output for regulatory accuracy and disclosure risk
• Flag guidance that reads right but would breach privacy or corrupt the record
