Job summary

Lever, Inc. in France seeks a Hebrew freelance translator and copy editor for product, marketing, and UI content. Remote, ongoing workload of 1,000–2,000+ words per week with CAT tools and QA processes.

You will translate from English to Hebrew, then copy-edit for accuracy, tone, and brand consistency. The role requires native or near-native Hebrew, strong English, and 2+ years of translation with a degree or 5+ years without.

Qualifications

• Hebrew native or near-native with strong U.S. English skills.
• 2+ years translation experience with a translation or linguistics degree, or 5+ years without a degree.
• Experience translating English into Hebrew across marketing, product, UI, and support materials.
• Practical experience using CAT tools.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced localization environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate content from English to Hebrew ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Copy-edit and refine Hebrew translations across marketing, product, UI, support, and light legal content.
• Adapt terminology, tone, and style to fit content formats and brand requirements.
• Maintain high standards of linguistic quality and consistency.
• Use CAT tools and the client’s platform to manage translation tasks efficiently.
• Follow project instructions, terminology guidelines, and QA procedures.
• Manage 1,000–2,000+ words per week and meet deadlines.
• Communicate proactively with project teams regarding assignments and timelines.
• Incorporate feedback and collaborate with reviewers to improve quality.
• Participate in training and onboarding for client-specific tools and workflows.
