Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner, seeks a Hebrew freelance translator and copy editor (Product, Marketing & UI Content) based in France. This remote freelance opportunity supports a long-term international project by translating and editing marketing materials, product information, user interfaces, customer support resources, and light legal content.

You will translate from U.S. English into Hebrew (he-IL) using CAT tools, ensuring linguistic accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Hebrew (he-IL)
• Excellent written English (en-US)
• 2+ years translation experience with a Translation/Linguistics degree or 5+ years without a degree
• Experience translating across marketing/product/UI/customer support content
• Experience using CAT tools
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Independence as a freelance professional with ability to follow workflows

Responsibilities

• Translate from English to Hebrew (he-IL) with natural phrasing and cultural relevance
• Copy-edit and refine Hebrew translations across marketing, product, UI, support, and light legal content
• Adapt terminology, tone, and style to content formats and brands
• Maintain high linguistic quality and consistency across deliverables
• Use CAT tools and project platforms to manage tasks
• Follow project instructions, terminology guidelines and QA procedures
• Manage 1,000–2,000+ words per week and meet deadlines
• Communicate with project teams about assignments and timelines
• Incorporate feedback and collaborate with reviewers to improve quality
• Participate in training for client tools and workflows
