IXO Prepare is seeking a skilled French-language audio editor to prepare speech recordings for reliable use in TTS evaluation. The role combines dialogue restoration, batch quality control, and listening judgment on French material.

Responsibilities include removing silence, breaths, clicks, and noise without harming the voice; detecting clipping and artifacts; balancing loudness to meet technical specs; and ensuring natural French pronunciation. Pay is $55/hr, and work is remote.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native French with hands-on editing of spoken voice.
• Experience with iZotope RX, Pro Tools or equivalent restoration software.
• Experience with high-volume audio collections or structured production workflows.
• Ability to repair audible defects reproducibly.

Responsabilités

• Remove excess silence, intrusive breaths, clicks, sibilance and background noise without damaging the voice.
• Detect clipping, distortion, processing artifacts and inconsistent recording levels.
• Balance loudness and confirm outputs follow technical requirements.
• Check French pronunciation, fluency and natural delivery.
• Apply consistent decisions across large batches and record unresolved defects.
