Mercor is seeking a French Linguistic Expert for a remote contract role. You will evaluate and refine LLM-generated French content, ensuring high linguistic quality for translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar correction.

You will annotate text and provide insights to improve model performance. The role requires native or near-native French, experience in linguistic data work, and strong attention to detail.

Formación

• Native or near-native fluency in French with strong grammar and style.
• Experience in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data work in French.
• Understanding of linguistic nuances and regional usage in French.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot unnatural phrasing.
• Experience working in distributed, remote teams.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate accuracy of LLM-generated French text across use cases (translation, summarization, dialogue, grammar).
• Edit, refine, or rewrite French content to meet linguistic and cultural standards.
• Annotate French text for grammatical, syntactic, semantic features.
• Identify model errors and language gaps; collaborate with AI researchers to improve LLM performance.
• Provide detailed linguistic feedback to guide model training.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.
