Board Game Arena is seeking a Remote Infrastructure Engineer to join the team responsible for the platform powering millions of board game players. You will work closely with the Lead Ops Engineer to improve existing systems, design new services and drive changes from investigation to production.

You will maintain and enhance bare metal and Kubernetes-based infrastructure, automate tasks and improve deployment workflows, with a focus on reliability, observability and performance across Linux,

Qualifications

• Strong Linux foundation required.
• Experience in designing and operating scalable production infrastructure.
• Ability to read documentation, test assumptions and learn new tools.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and improve Board Game Arena’s infrastructure.
• Design, deploy and operate production services.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve deployment workflows.
• Migrate selected services from bare metal to Kubernetes.
• Improve deployment safety, rollback procedures and observability.
• Investigate production incidents and prevent recurrence.
• Diagnose performance bottlenecks across infrastructure and MySQL.
• Identify technical weaknesses and propose improvements.
