Jobgether, on behalf of our partner, is seeking a Software Engineer - Crypto based in France. You will design and build exchange, market-making, wallet, and tokenization systems powering millions of users, with high-throughput, low-latency requirements.

You will own backend services, work with distributed systems, and collaborate with traders and engineers in a globally distributed, autonomous environment. A strong background in Go/C++ and crypto infra is required, with 4+ years of backend

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend software development experience.
• Experience building trading systems, exchanges or low-latency financial systems.
• Hands-on experience developing crypto-related products or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and fault-tolerant systems.
• Proficiency in Go; strong Go experience is particularly relevant.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or related field.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Bash, Linux, and Docker.
• Comfortable owning engineering decisions and challenging approaches.
• Experience with microservices, DevOps, AWS/GCP/Azure is a plus.
• Kubernetes certifications such as CKA or CKAD are advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain exchange and market-making systems at scale.
• Develop services for crypto wallets, funding, tokenization, and related infrastructure.
• Architect backend services and web applications with modern engineering practices.
• Build high-throughput, low-latency systems with reliability and fault tolerance.
• Maintain software quality, testing standards, code coverage, and clean code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents and bugs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.
• Take part in on-call responsibilities when required to support time-sensitive initiatives.
