Qualifications

• Proven experience with Kubernetes Operators and Kubernetes.
• Strong backend development skills in Python, Node.js, Go, or Rust.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, and cloud platforms (GCP or AWS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (FluxCD, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Curiosity and passion for learning emerging technologies.
• Understanding of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

DevOps Platform Engineer - Crypto Market Maker | Paris

Venture Search is proud to partner with a leading crypto-native market‑making proprietary trading firm in their search for a DevOps Platform Engineer to join their team in Paris. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a more transparent, efficient, and scalable financial market infrastructure.

About the Role

As part of the Infrastructure Team, you’ll work closely with Engineering, Trading, and Data teams to enhance, scale, and maintain the firm’s core systems. Reporting to the Lead of Infrastructure, you’ll play a key role in driving DevOps excellence, automation, and reliability across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and expand CI/CD systems (FluxCD, GitHub Actions, Python scripting).
• Optimize and integrate Kubernetes operators; implement advanced deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary).
• Contribute to the firm’s in‑house Rust‑based workload orchestrator.
• Build internal tools from custom Rust libraries to observability solutions.
• Champion DevOps best practices: reliability, performance tuning, observability, incident management, and FinOps.
• Support daily operational activities and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet evolving business needs.
• Continuously propose and deliver technical improvements and innovations.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Kubernetes Operators and Kubernetes.
