Job summary

Swapcard is a Paris-based B2B event-tech SaaS company seeking a freelance lawyer to join our in-house legal team. You’ll report to and work directly with Sarah Fellous, our Chief Legal Officer.

Scope includes corporate housekeeping, governance, employment law, and other business law topics. Remote engagement with CET timezone preferred; start as soon as possible through the end of 2026 with renewal possible. Rate depends on profile.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the French Bar; US Bar admission is a plus.
• At least 5 years in business law, including in-house or with SaaS/tech clients.
• Full professional proficiency in English; French is a strong plus.
• Comfortable working on your own in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide corporate housekeeping, governance and shareholder matters.
• Employment law: day-to-day support on contracts, HR questions and procedures.
• Handle other business law topics as needed.
