Warpfrog is seeking a Concept Artist (Environments) to create rough concepts for our next VR game, guided by the Art Director. You will design visuals with a strong identity, create rough concepts, and support visual research for the project.

The role requires experience in urban/environ design, strong drawing skills, and ability to work remotely with an international team. Flexible hours and home-based work are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent traditional drawing and conceptualization skills.
• Proficiency with 2D tools (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Good understanding of the video game development process and its technical constraints.
• Ability to create technical drawings with clear operational explanations.
• Proactive mindset and strong team spirit.
• Good level of English to communicate with the team and participate in occasional meetings.
• Experience designing urban environments, interior and exterior architecture, as well as props and their functionality.
• Knowledge of architectural and urban environment design is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop visual elements by proposing a strong identity in a realistic style while following the project’s guidelines.
• Understand and follow the art direction to create compelling visual concepts.
• Create sketches and rough concepts to help the Art Director communicate the artistic vision of the project.
• Participate in 2D/3D visual research.
• Adapt designs to technical constraints and limitations.
