Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a freelance CAD engineer to train and evaluate AI agents that operate in a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks. You will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts, collaborating with CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build.

Tasks run around 10-20 hours per week during active phases and are fully remote. Requires a Mechanical/Aerospace degree, 5+ years CAD modelling, an active CAD licence, Python and GitHub, and

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Master/PhD a plus).
• 5+ years CAD modelling experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, Creo or similar).
• Active professional CAD licence required.
• Proficient in Python and GitHub.
• English level B2 or above.

Responsibilities

• Design part geometry for AI training in a real CAD environment.
• Build reference solutions and evaluate agent attempts.
