Job summary

Valmet is seeking an Area Sales Manager for North & Francophone Africa, based remotely in Morocco with travel. You will develop opportunities across Morocco and the broader region, managing key accounts, and promoting Valmet Flow Control products and services.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in valves, actuators, or related engineered equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience with engineering companies, distributors, and channel partners.
• Market knowledge in Morocco; exposure to other African markets is a plus.
• Experience in process industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, or mining.
• Fluent in Arabic, French and English.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth across Morocco and North & Francophone Africa.
• Build relationships with end users, EPCs, distributors and partners.
• Promote Valmet Flow Control portfolio and services.
• Develop opportunities and manage the full sales cycle.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Develop aftermarket and lifecycle business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions.
• Maintain accurate forecasts via CRM.
