Flipp is seeking an Accounting Specialist, Accounts Receivable (Spanish-speaking) to manage customer receivables across Europe. You will invoice accurately, monitor aging, and drive collections while coordinating with Sales, Account Management and Finance.

Proficiency in Spanish and English is required, along with Excel and ERP experience (NetSuite a plus). This remote-first role offers opportunities to influence cash flow and optimize billing processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience managing customer collections and AR aging.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable and general accounting principles.
• Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
• Professional fluency in English; English is the primary business language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with an ERP system; NetSuite is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Manage the collection process for an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices.
• Follow up with customers on overdue balances via email, phone and other channels.
• Monitor AR aging, identify overdue accounts and payment delays, elevate potential credit risks.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions and disputes impacting collections.
• Perform customer account reconciliations and ensure incoming payments are allocated.
• Partner with Sales, Account Management and other internal teams to resolve payment issues.
• Contribute to cash collection forecasts and regular reporting on overdue receivables and collection performance.
• Provide information and supporting documentation for bad debt and credit loss assessments.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities related to Accounts Receivable.
• Maintain accurate customer master data and billing information.
• Support electronic invoicing processes and customer billing portals where required.
