Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an AI Research Scientist specialized in scientific evaluation for a remote freelance role based in France. You will assess AI research papers for novelty, rigor, and reproducibility, applying detailed rubrics and providing concise, evidence-based feedback.

Qualifications

• PhD in ML/AI, CS, statistics or related field.
• At least three peer-reviewed publications in NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR.
• Strong hands-on ML/AI research experience and ability to publish original work.

Responsibilities

• Critically evaluate AI-generated ML/AI research papers for scientific contributions and validity.
• Assess novelty, significance, and technical soundness against state-of-the-art benchmarks.
• Verify experimental rigor, including baselines, benchmarks, and reproducibility; provide structured, evidence-based feedback.
• Identify methodological flaws, unsupported claims, and discrepancies between claims and evidence.
