Position : Relief Senior Deckhand (II / 4)

Yach t : 90m+ Private MY

Location : MED

Start Date : Immediate till 1st of November aprox

Licence / certificates : Navigational Watch STCW II / 4 or Yacht Master (Commercially Endorsed), Valid STCW, ENG1 / Medical Fitness, PDSD, Powerboat Level 2

We are looking for a senior deckhand with excellent tender driver skills to join a 90m+ private yacht to cover our deckhand on leave. Ideal candidate is someone with strong experience in operating large tenders and a background in watersports to become a valuable member of our dynamic team, aiding in the smooth running of our prestigious superyacht. The Senior Deckhand will collaborate closely with the Bosun and the Third Officer, particularly in matters related to tender operations.

Requirements :

• 5+ years progressive experience in the maritime industry of which 3 years should be on yachts.
• Strong maintenance experience and knowledge
• Experience working with paint systems, varnishing and on deck cleaning products
• Proficiency in maneuvering and handling of both jet and propeller driven, single and twin engine watercraft of all sizes
• Experience with operating large davits / cranes
• Must be able to perform both independently and as a part of a team and must have a high level of individual initiative and be largely self-directed
• Good verbal and written command of the English language

Other : Shared 4-berth cabin with 2 showers and a separate toilet. Crew gym and big crew mess.
