Description du poste

As Reliability Manager, you will ensure the constant availability of our production capacity by working closely with site managers and providing support in analysis, strategy development, studies, follow-ups, project leadership, and the implementation of best practices.

The reliability management is related to the ability to supply gaseous/liquid products and electricity with existing assets that match the instantaneous customer needs at any time and in the most cost-effective way. Consequently, any event altering the primary production capacity can have an inevitable impact on customer output.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting multidisciplinary analysis (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, automation, process) to identify failure scenarios and define mitigation measures (e.g., FMECA, Hazop, typically used in case of MOC).
  • Leading the execution of normal capex projects or reliability projects.
  • Using reliability data (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, PFD, Availability) to make sound, cost-effective recommendations and identify potential future improvements to be embedded in design.
  • Applying RCA methodology to go beyond technical causes and identify systemic or organizational causes, based on logical deduction (cause tree).
  • Following action plans and programs related to RCA and reliability improvements, including maintaining critical spare parts management, ensuring reliability reporting at Eu CO2, and identifying gaps against standards/best practices to propose and follow-up on related action plans.
  • Proposing and monitoring reliability KPIs.

Key interfaces include collaboration with:

  • Procurement
  • Technical Competence Center (TCC)
  • Third Parties

You will oversee 14 sites across Europe, including units and storage facilities in France, Germany, UK, and Italy.

Job requirements:

  • Managing the log of non-reliability events (e.g., compressor, cooling system, liquefaction, storage) for AL CO2 EU, using continuous improvement methods to solve issues structurally.
  • Facilitating the Reliability Committee for AL CO2 Europe.
  • Conducting regular vulnerability studies.
  • Completing action plans for vulnerabilities and RCA findings.
  • Managing RCA methodologies.
  • Maintaining up-to-date critical spare parts inventory for each site.
  • Identifying obsolescence risks and proposing strategies.
  • Leading reliability-related projects in collaboration with TCC site managers and third parties.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial activities.
  • Mastery of tools & methods such as myRCA, myVS.
  • Strong knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance, including risk-based approaches, KPIs, and maintenance cost optimization.
  • Effective data analysis skills for reliability assessments and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in system modeling for reliability prediction.
  • Willingness to travel for business.
  • Fluency in English is essential.

If you are proactive, precise, and experienced in reliability with a strong engineering background, and ready to work in an international environment, apply now!

Additional skills: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, SAP, CMMS, Conflict Management, Maintenance Management, Supplier Management, Team Management, Programmable Logic Controllers.
