Your role

Are you a people person? Do you know how to give superior investment advice that grows client wealth? We're looking for a Relationship Manager to:

  1. Develop and maintain trustworthy client partnerships with the main focus on strategic advice.
  2. Grow topline through focus on GFIW clients, proper client segmentation, and OneBank delivery.
  3. Create and implement a strategic, quantitative prospect development plan with measurable actions; monitor and reassess regularly.
  4. Provide extensive knowledge of target market and identify new prospects by developing a strong network with opinion leaders and door openers.
  5. Develop a mutual understanding with the client and establish trustworthy client partnerships with main focus on strategic advice, expanding share of wallet with existing clients and winning back former clients.
  6. Work closely with other team members, regularly sharing information on clients and client activities and sharing best practices.
  7. Arrange senior management coverage of client where appropriate.
  8. Ensure clients are managed in accordance with all relevant regulation, policies and standards, contributing to an effective risk culture on the team.
  9. Define advisory processes and agreements that best meet our clients' needs, in cooperation with the Investment Advisor.
  10. Provide high-quality investment options for clients, working closely with team members and specialists from other areas.
  11. Grow local market network by referrals and by identifying new prospects.
  12. Make sure clients are managed in a manner that contributes to an effective risk culture on the team.
  13. Achieve sustainable financial performance along agreed market-specific KPIs such as revenue growth (OUR) and NNM from existing and new clients.
  14. Implement a clear strategy for profitable growth of the client base, generating Net New Money and building up long-term client relationships.
  15. Ensure overall client satisfaction through highly effective personal organization, structured planning, and efficient time management.

Your team

You'll be working in the Global Family & Institutional Wealth (GFIW) team in Luxembourg. We're focused on managing, preserving, and growing our clients' wealth, and help our clients plan for and manage succession. We provide our employees with training and continuous education to better serve our clients and promote personal development. As a Relationship Manager, you'll play an important role in helping us stay a global leader in wealth management.

Your expertise

  1. Proven track record in advising & acquiring sophisticated institutional-type clients in a relationship management, sales, institutional or corporate finance solutions role.
  2. Great networking skills with the desire to build your client portfolio and relationships, with the aim to improve the client experience.
  3. Ability to lead a strategic dialogue with principals and family office executives, with a view on total family wealth.
  4. In-depth knowledge of traditional and alternative asset classes, capital markets, and sophisticated financial instruments including derivative structures.
  5. Solid background in primary markets, secondary markets, and the regulatory frameworks.
  6. Commercial and origination driven mind-set coupled with proven negotiation skills.
  7. Driven and flexible team player, with strong interpersonal skills.
  8. Business level fluency in French and English, any other language is an additional asset.
  9. Excellent communicator, with great presentation skills.
