The Opportunity
they are seeking a Reinsurance Broker to join their growing team in Paris, focusing on clients across France and the Belux region. This role combines client relationship management, reinsurance placement, strategic advisory, and market negotiation.

You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, design tailored solutions, and negotiate optimal terms with reinsurers. You will also collaborate with internal experts across analytics, legal, actuarial, and finance, as well as contribute to international projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage long-term client relationships, delivering customised reinsurance advice.
• Assess client risk profiles and recommend suitable reinsurance structures.
• Coordinate and secure reinsurance placements in line with client objectives.
• Negotiate with reinsurers to obtain competitive terms and pricing.
• Monitor industry trends and provide clients with up-to-date market intelligence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across broking, legal, and finance.

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in reinsurance broking, advisory, or a similar area.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with strong analytical capabilities.
• Solid understanding of reinsurance products and international market dynamics.
• Bilingual French/English (written and spoken).
• Must be based in Paris or willing to relocate.
