Northern Montana Hospital is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to support therapists with patient care within scope and to assist in maintaining an efficient rehab office environment.

The role includes completing clerical tasks, scheduling, monthly audits and managing day-to-day non-clinical tasks while considering patient needs across gender, age, and cultural differences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to learn from others and take initiative.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Ability to interact with patients with tact and empathy.
• Basic knowledge of rehab therapy theories and practices.
• Ability to schedule patients with minimal conflicts.
• Proficiency with computer keyboard and word processing software.

About the role

The Rehabilitation Aide will be responsible for supporting therapists with patient care within scope of practice and assist in maintaining an efficient work environment. Complete clerical tasks to assist rehab office with scheduling, monthly audits and managing day to day non-clinical tasks. Takes into consideration patient and visitor needs based on gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to learn from others, use individual initiative to learn by studying and practicing proven methods.
• Ability to hold, in confidence, all personal, hospital, and professional matters.
• Ability to deal tactfully and empathetically with patients.
• Attain a basic knowledge of the theories, technique and practices of general Rehab Therapy.
• Adequate initiative and judgment involved in the use of equipment and handling and scheduling of patients.
• Ability to schedule patients with minimal conflicts.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to use computer keyboard and word processing software.

Starting pay range varies based on experience up to 10 years.
