Job summary

Bank of China Paris Branch is seeking a Compliance Officer Middle Level to strengthen regulatory risk management and ensure BAU activities are properly handled. You will monitor the regulatory landscape, implement requirements (MiFID, EMIR, GDPR, DORA, CRD, etc.), lead regulatory projects, develop policies, perform 2nd level controls, and prepare reports to authorities.

Fluency in French and English is essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Law, Finance, or Compliance.
• Minimum 4 years of regulatory compliance experience in a bank, financial institution, or consulting for bank/finance clients.
• GDPR practice in a banking/financial environment is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as AMF, CFA, ACAMS, DPO are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory landscape evolution and prepare a monthly regulatory watch.
• Ensure that the implementation of regulatory requirements is properly applied.
• Participate in and lead regulatory projects; develop and update compliance policies and procedures.
• Perform 2nd level controls according to the team’s plan and maintain regulatory registers.
• Prepare reports to regulatory authorities (OIB, QPC, RACI, etc.).
• Provide training for bank employees and raise awareness of regulatory risks.
