You will handle registrations, REACH compliance, SDS management, and monitor evolving regulations in multiple markets.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or higher in chemistry-related field with regulatory background.
  • Experience in chemical regulatory affairs, REACH knowledge.
  • Experience with Safety Data Sheets and labeling requirements.
  • Ability to work in an international industrial environment and coordinate across teams.

  • Oversee registrations and compliance for various applications and end-use markets.
  • Prepare, maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS).
  • Monitor changes in chemical/product regulations and assess impact on the business.
  • Provide regulatory support to internal teams and resolve compliance matters.
  • Coordinate regulatory issues across the Group’s five production sites worldwide.
  • Work with local teams to ensure consistent regulatory implementation across markets.

Description du poste

Our client is a world global leader in the development and manufacture of water-soluble polymers, with particular expertise in acrylate-based polymers.

Our products are used across a wide range of industrial applications and markets worldwide. In this highly regulated environment, our Regulatory Affairs team plays a key role in ensuring product and application compliance across our international operations.

As part of the continued development of our regulatory activities, we are looking for a Regulatory Engineerwith a broad regulatory background who will be able to address a wide range of regulatory matters across the Group.

Working within the Regulatory Affairs team, you will be involved in regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle, from product registration to application-specific requirements and ongoing regulatory monitoring.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing product registrations, including REACH and related regulatory requirements;
  • Managing registrations and compliance requirements linked to the various applications and end-use markets of our products;
  • Preparing, maintaining and updating Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS);
  • Monitoring changes in applicable chemical and product regulations and assessing their potential impact on the business;
  • Providing regulatory support to internal teams and contributing to the resolution of a broad range of compliance-related matters;
  • Coordinating and monitoring regulatory issues across the Group’s five production sites worldwide;
  • Working with local teams to ensure consistent implementation of regulatory requirements across different countries and markets.

We are looking for a generalist Regulatory Engineer capable of handling a broad range of regulatory topics rather than focusing on a single area of expertise.

You ideally have:

  • An engineering degree, Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Regulatory Affairs or a related scientific field;
  • Strong experience in chemical regulatory affairs, preferably within the chemicals, polymers or specialty chemicals industry;
  • Good knowledge of REACH and chemical product registration processes;
  • Experience with Safety Data Sheets and chemical classification and labelling requirements;
  • The ability to understand and manage regulations relating not only to chemical substances but also to their applications and end-use markets;
  • A broad, pragmatic and operational approach to regulatory matters;
  • The ability to work effectively in an international industrial environment;
  • Strong communication and coordination skills;
