Regulatory Compliance Leader – Payments

Job summary

SlimPay, based in Paris, seeks an experienced regulatory compliance professional to lead the regulatory programme across Europe. You will support licensing, governance, and reporting to ensure compliance with PSD2, AML/CTF, and three-lines-of-defence.

Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, you will map licences to products, oversee supervisory interactions, and drive remediation while collaborating with policy teams and regulators.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance, risk management and/or regulatory experience in payments or financial services.
• Working knowledge of EU and French payments regulation (PSD2, AML/CTF) and regulators.
• Experience maintaining compliant programmes within a three-lines-of-defence model.
• Excellent written and oral communication in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Horizon scanning and mapping regulations to obligations; liaise with policymakers and regulators.
• Governance: regular regulatory reporting to the SlimPay Board and committees; manage action items.
• Oversee regulatory examinations, inspections, and remediation; track progress and MAPs.
• Maintain the regulatory reporting schedule and end-to-end filing.
