Position: Regional Sales Manager - West (P&I)

Position Objective

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for executing sales goals, implementing strategic initiatives, managing external sales representatives, and direct sales activities for the assigned region.

Key Accountabilities

  • Focus on West Coast (AZ, NM, NV, CA, CO, and Hawaii) end users and distributors.
  • Achieve regional sales objectives through action plans, customer service standards, problem resolution, and trend analysis.
  • Meet financial objectives by forecasting, budgeting, analyzing variances, and taking corrective actions.
  • Create sales objectives aligned with national goals.
  • Build and maintain rapport with key customers, identify new opportunities, and develop sales channels.
  • Identify new product opportunities and monitor market trends and competitors.
  • Participate in educational opportunities to update knowledge.
  • Complete related results to accomplish sales and organizational missions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in a technical industry preferred.
  • Experience in sales channel creation and management.
  • Comfortable presenting in large groups or via video conferencing.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving, business analysis, and mediation skills.
  • Ability to share skills and knowledge with others.
  • Proficiency with office software and equipment.
