Manager General Summary
This position forms a critical part of the Rochester Electronics EMEA Sales Organization based within the EMEA region in Toulouse, France.
- Reporting to the Manager, Field Sales Southern Europe, the position will work closely with the Internal Sales Team and Technical Sales Team to drive the overall Company Business Strategy.
- Develops and executes Sales Business Plans and Strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier to Key customers within the Italian region.
Manager Responsibilities
- Manages customer activities within the defined Region and works with the Internal Sales Representative and Technical Manager to increase sales of Rochester Electronics products and services to customers per agreed strategies and business plans.
- Identifies significant opportunities, gains information, and develops strategies utilizing all available resources to grow the account base within Region.
- Manages the complete sales cycle from lead generation, qualifying business opportunities, creating and delivering sales presentations, creating sales proposals, negotiating and closing the deal.
- Responsible for accurate and timely forecasting of new business opportunities and revenue for the region and ensuring CRM is utilized and maintained daily.
- Provides effective communication and service to the customer base and effectively navigates internally to influence decisions and priorities on active business opportunities.
Physical / Working Conditions
- Must be able to effectively type using a keyboard and computer peripherals, such as a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
- Must be able and willing to travel.
Manager Qualifications
- Semiconductor industry experience and knowledge
- Being fluent in French, English, and Spanish language is vital – verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Communication skills – be confident and effective in explaining concepts and situations to co‑workers, business partners and customers of different languages and cultures
- Builds solid and successful relationships, effectively supporting and influencing colleagues, partners, suppliers, customers, and members of the global team
- Maintaining strong analytical skills and business acumen combined with a substantial degree of creativity and aptitude
