We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for Mid Market and large Enterprise accounts in and around Marseille. This is an individual contributor role. You will be responsible for:
- Managing Mid Market and Enterprise accounts across the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne Franche-Comté, and PACA regions, generating new business and upselling within these accounts.
- Consistently delivering on license, support, and service revenue quotas on a quarterly and yearly basis. Overachieving on set targets.
- Collaborating closely with our Channel Manager and regional partners, working in harmony with our partners and distributor.
- Strategically working on account planning and opportunity management to maximize account penetration.
- Reporting accurately on pipeline and forecasts in collaboration with your Manager and our EMEA sales operations team, on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Negotiating pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by emphasizing value and engaging with various Splunk business areas.
- Utilizing and collaborating with sales engineering and professional services teams, both internal and partner-based, to position Splunk's offerings effectively.
- Applying our MEDDIC sales methodology effectively, from prospecting to closing, to support your success and overachievement.
- Acting as a strong ambassador of the Splunk brand through your interactions internally and externally.
You will have the following skills and experience :
- Extensive enterprise software sales experience with Mid Market and Enterprise accounts in the specified regions.
- A strong hunting mentality with the ability to close new business confidently.
- Excellent executive presence and professionalism, comfortable engaging with C-suite executives.
- Strong understanding of forecasting commitments and maintaining forecast accuracy.
- Outstanding time management, interpersonal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and evolving environment.
- Capability to work independently and remotely, coordinating with team and corporate functions.
- Extensive experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
- A proven track record of sales success within the French territory.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Minimum education: Bachelor's degree; MBA is a plus.
