The Regional Account Manager Symantec French Market is responsible for owning, driving, and expanding the overall sales plan for Symantec’s commercial SMB segment. This includes net new business (whitespace), customer winback, and competitive displacement. You will execute this strategy across your geo and support our country channel team to meet their goals. Responsibilities include generating and closing pipeline, developing and executing plans to drive opportunities, and developing strong business relationships with key partners. You will also build robust reporting and forecasting for your business. Your creative thinking, commercial acumen, proactivity, and commitment will contribute to success. Continual business development and market awareness are essential.

Key Activities

Management & execution of commercial new business sales strategy directly with end-user prospects.

Ownership of strategic relationships with key prospects (C-level/Senior Management).

Manage the local execution of EMEA-wide initiatives for strategic programs or market segments.

Support key partnerships to drive new commercial opportunities.

Coordinate forecasting and pipeline processes in line with Arrow Countries.

Provide sales leadership and management to Regional VPs, Country Managers, and Business Unit Leaders.

Work closely with all internal departments and countries within Arrow ECS EMEA to achieve financial and business goals.

Matrix management (indirect reports) of in-country Business Developers.

Collaborate with marketing strategists to design and develop sales campaigns targeting commercial customer whitespace.

Develop sales plays to ensure continued adoption of Symantec products by commercial customers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

The candidate should have the following minimum experience:

  • Relevant direct touch/end-user sales experience in cybersecurity (Symantec products & solutions are a strong asset) or in the technology space, managing customer relationships, processes, programs, and/or sales personnel within the IT industry.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, including setting business expectations and objectives.
  • Effective collaboration with marketing to maximize Go-to-Market program effectiveness.
  • Leadership abilities, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Travel estimated at 75% of working time.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in cybersecurity/IT area.
