The Regional Account Manager Symantec French Market is responsible for owning, driving and expanding the overall sales plan for Symantec’s commercial SMB segment. This includes new business development, customer winback, and competitive displacement. You will execute this strategy across your region and support our channel team to meet their goals. Responsibilities include generating and closing pipelines, developing strategic partner relationships, and building robust reporting and forecasting. Your creativity, commercial acumen, proactivity, and commitment will contribute to success, keeping the business ahead of market trends.
Key Activities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Management and execution of commercial new business sales strategies targeting end-user prospects.
- Ownership of strategic relationships with key prospects (C-level/Senior Management).
- Managing local execution of EMEA-wide initiatives for strategic programs or market segments.
- Supporting key partnerships to generate new opportunities.
- Coordinating forecasting and pipeline processes aligned with Arrow countries.
- Providing sales leadership to Regional VPs, Country Managers, and Business Unit Leaders.
- Collaborating with internal departments and countries within Arrow ECS EMEA to meet financial and business goals.
- Matrix management of in-country Business Developers supporting commercial opportunities.
- Working with marketing to design and develop campaigns targeting whitespace in the commercial segment.
- Developing sales strategies to promote continued adoption of Symantec products by commercial customers.
Person Specification
The candidate should have the following experience:
- Relevant direct sales experience in cybersecurity or technology, managing customer relationships and sales teams within the IT industry. Experience with Symantec solutions is a strong asset.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives and set business expectations.
- Experience working with marketing to maximize Go-to-Market effectiveness.
- Leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
- Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in cybersecurity/IT.
Qualities include strong leadership, organizational skills, ability to motivate teams, understanding of vendor strategies, and a comprehensive understanding of business needs related to sales.
