As a Regional Sales Manager for France, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing accounts, and fostering strong relationships with customers in your assigned territory. Your primary goal will be to exceed past growth metrics by increasing billings and bookings through new design efforts.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and grow new design efforts, ensuring growth over the previous year as reflected in increased billings and bookings.
  • Establish and maintain individual accounts, setting appropriate product and dollar volume goals within your territory.
  • Educate prospective and established customers, as well as independent sales representatives, on the benefits of AirBorn’s products and services.
  • Ensure comprehensive coverage of established and potential accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Develop strong relationships with customer purchasing, engineering, and management personnel to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Pursue regional goals aligned with the overall company plan.
  • Evaluate the performance of independent representatives against established goals.
  • Support sales activities with existing and potential customers in collaboration with the Sales/Marketing team.
  • Develop and maintain information reporting methods consistent with sales management requirements.
  • Prepare business transaction reports and maintain expense accounts.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in driving sales and managing accounts within the Defence/Aerospace industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in sales and sales management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, or regulations in French and English.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and French.
  • Strong integration and communication skills within an international group.
  • Valid and clean driver's license.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the region and abroad.
  • Freedom from non-competition clauses at the time of employment.
  • Capability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in French and English.
  • Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Problem-solving skills to handle practical issues with limited standardization.
  • Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form in both French and English.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, and other financial metrics.
