Role responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Sales Manager to lead commercial activities across France and Benelux. You will manage a field-based team of Territory Managers and Application Specialists, drive revenue growth, strengthen key customer relationships, and contribute to the company’s regional business strategy.
This is a key leadership position for someone with strong scientific and commercial expertise who enjoys building and mentoring teams, developing business, and making a measurable impact. You will:

  • Lead the regional sales team to achieve growth targets across academic, biotech, pharmaceutical, and clinical markets
  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for France and the Benelux region
  • Develop key relationships with major customers and stakeholders, including procurement and scientific leadership
  • Support and oversee the launch and promotion of new products within the region
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform territory strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product Management, Technical Support, etc.) to deliver best-in-class customer experiences
  • Track sales performance, ensure CRM data quality (e.g., Salesforce), and provide accurate reporting to senior management
  • Represent the company at regional scientific conferences, trade shows, and customer events.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with anMSc or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genomics, or a related life science field, and at least 5 years’ experience in scientific sales, including 3+ years in a team leadership or regional management role. You should have:

  • Demonstrated success in growing business across multiple territories or regions
  • Strong understanding of genomics workflows, NGS, PCR/qPCR, and molecular biology techniques
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel across France and the Benelux region
