Ce rôle clé exige une forte expérience en leadership et en amélioration continue, avec l'objectif de promouvoir et maintenir des normes de qualité élevées sur tous les sites. Une connaissance approfondie des technologies plastiques ainsi qu'une maîtrise des langues, notamment l'anglais et le français, est essentielle pour ce poste stratégique.

Qualifications

• Expérience en leadership opérationnel comme directeur d'usine ou directeur de l'excellence opérationnelle.
• Connaissances techniques en qualité dans l'industrie plastique requises.
• Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français, d'autres langues comme l'espagnol ou l'italien sont un plus.

• Soutenir les sites dans les activités qualité et assurer la conformité aux normes.
• Former et supporter les responsables qualité.
• Conduire des audits et fournir des rapports de performance qualité mensuels.

Our client

Our client is a leading global multinational in the packaging industry.

Location

France. The position can be based at any of the multiple sites our client has across France.

Preference for candidates based in, willing to commute to, or relocate within the Ain Department (Plastics Vallée Area).

Job Description

This is a newly created role reporting directly to the Vice President of Quality, overseeing 8 plants across France, Spain, Italy, and Tunisia.

Quality Managers at the plants report directly to the plant managers and have a dotted line to the Regional Quality Director.

The main responsibilities include:

• Supporting sites in quality activities, ensuring adherence to standards, participating in customer meetings, and handling major claims.
• Sharing best practices within the team and organization.
• Implementing and maintaining quality standards.
• Promoting a quality-focused culture and excellence.
• Conducting audits and providing monthly quality performance reports.
• Training and supporting quality managers.
• Serving as the key person for quality excellence, measuring and improving performance.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in operations, such as plant manager, operations director, or operational excellence director, complemented by several years in quality or continuous improvement roles.

Experience and technical knowledge in the plastics industry across sectors like packaging, automotive, or medical, with technologies such as injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, and thermoforming, are required.
