A leading company in the adhesive sector is seeking a Regional Operations Excellence Manager EMEA to enhance manufacturing performance and drive operational excellence. This role involves developing strategic initiatives, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with corporate functions to optimize processes and improve product quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operational transformation and a background in chemical engineering.
Bostik, an adhesive segment of the Arkema group, is looking for its future Regional Operations Excellence Manager EMEA for its Head Office in Colombes (92). Reporting directly to the Bostik operational excellence director, you will support top line growth by continuously improving customer satisfaction at the right cost level by producing better products, processes & services faster and cheaper in observance of the highest safety standards.
Your future responsibilities :
Drive Manufacturing Performance and Productivity
o OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) : Enhance availability, performance, and quality.
o Plant Reliability : Implement proactive strategies to minimize downtime and failures.
o Cost per Ton (€ / t) : Optimize costs by eliminating inefficiencies and leveraging best practices.
Build and Execute the Operational Excellence Roadmap
o OEE and Reliability Programs : Target specific bottlenecks to boost equipment performance.
o Smart Leverage operational excellence basics such as daily performance reviews, visual KPIs, problem solving, and 5S) to engage people in continuous improvement.
Identify, Prioritize, and Execute Improvement Opportunities
Enhance Quality Through Product and Process Modelling (PPM)
Animate and Lead the Regional Operational Excellence Community
Represent Bostik Operational Excellence in Regional and Corporate Arenas
Collaborate with the Bostik Operational Excellence Community
The profile we're looking for :
You have a demonstrated ability to articulate an appropriate vision and translate that into effective strategy initiatives and operational plans.
You got 5+ years’ experience in handling substantial OPEX related transformation and change management projects.
You have proven project management skills, strong analytical skills and numerical understanding, leadership, multitasking and decision making skills in line with Arkema values.
You are fluent English and ability to effectively communicate and evolve in an international environment
Shared leadership and multi-functional team collaboration skills should be manifested
You have team facilitation competencies (listening, idea generation, constructively challenging, influencing / secure buy-in)
You have capability of working in a matrix organization (link with corporate functions)
You have preferred Chemical engineering degree or strong experience in chemical field and processes.
