Job summary

Veracyte is expanding its global oncology diagnostics leadership and seeks an Associate Marketing Director aligned to our IVD portfolio. Based in EMEA, with preference for UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, or France, you will own regional marketing strategy, drive demand, and partner with global teams to tailor messaging and enable regional growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of marketing experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or biotech.
• Proven experience in strategic marketing leadership and operational execution.
• Experience in product lifecycle management, development support, and commercialization.
• Experience working in complex matrix organizations.
• Strong analytical capabilities to translate data into insights.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
• Understanding of oncology diagnostics and EMEA market dynamics.
• Experience supporting platform transitions (e.g., NGS).
• Knowledge of IVD/IVDR regulatory frameworks and compliance.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the international IVD regional marketing strategy by product, segment, and geography; translate market dynamics and customer insights into strategic direction and execution priorities.
• Contribute to product lifecycle management providing input to the global marketing team for feature prioritization, concept development, testing, and continuous product improvement.
• Provide input to ensure alignment with the international team for complete customer and technical requirements for product development.
• Lead VoC initiatives including qualitative and quantitative research, market assessment, and competitive intelligence; translate insights into strategy and messaging.
• Lead multi-channel regional marketing execution including campaign planning and collaboration with global teams for content creation and messaging.
• Oversee content governance, local approvals, version control, compliance, and scientific accuracy; ensure adherence to IVD/IVDR standards.
• Plan regional events and congress participation with Global Meetings & Events for visibility and positioning.
• Deliver high-impact sales enablement tools and region-specific messaging frameworks, training materials, and field support.
• Drive Prosigna growth and NGS regional programs including segmentation, targeting, and education initiatives.
• Collaborate with Decipher global marketing to define international launch roadmaps and commercial readiness.
• Partner with Sales to drive demand generation, pipeline growth, and field execution; ensure ROI discipline.
