Job Description:

Localization: Aimargues (30 min from Montpellier in France)

Type of contract: Permanent (CDI)

The Regional VCO People & Organization (P&O) Manager acts as a strategic talent advisor to regional VCO business leaders, helping them achieve their objectives through their teams.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Manufacturing or related field (master preferred)
  • 10+ years in a similar role with senior leadership partnership experience
  • 5+ years in a senior regional leadership role within a matrix organization
  • Experience in a multinational CPG environment with centralized HR operations and COE model
  • Proven team management skills and ability to develop high-performing teams
  • Effective decision-making in complex or ambiguous environments
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, engaging at executive levels
  • Cross-functional experience in supply chain or technical functions is advantageous
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus
  • Willingness to travel 20%-30%

Key responsibilities include:

Advancing human capital strategies, cultivating organizational culture, and fostering performance and engagement through seven strategic areas:

  1. Shape business strategy: Partner with leaders to align talent with business goals, provide data-driven insights, and monitor KPIs.
  2. Organizational design & change management: Ensure alignment with global structures, enhance leadership engagement, and assess skills requirements.
  3. Shape culture: Promote Mars 5 Principles, coach leaders, and leverage analytics for engagement and wellbeing.
  4. Talent enablement: Lead succession planning, talent reviews, and promote diversity and inclusion.
  5. Co-create solutions within Mars My-P&O: Deliver regional talent priorities and collaborate with COE teams.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Influence talent and business decisions, participate in committees, and use data for decisions.
  7. P&O Capability Development: Lead and develop the P&O team, address capability gaps, and ensure succession planning.

This role requires building strong relationships across internal stakeholders and integrating external talent insights to inform business decisions, understanding global trends and risks.
