Scope:

The position is established as the Regional Head of the Sub Vertical within the Consumer Retail & Fashion industry, as the regional (EUR/META - APAC - AMERICAS) representative for the sub-vertical's management, growth, leadership, and talent development within the defined geography.

The key responsibilities include:

• Establish and develop relationships with the senior management of the existing book of business. Maintain close working relationships with the account's corporate operational leadership and performance teams. Proactively develop and implement new sales opportunities, aligning with global leadership to support customer satisfaction and partnership. Coordinate the transition of customers to the Vertical Strategy for Operations and IT Systems to realize global synergies and automation.
• Drive new business development by maintaining a focused pipeline, establishing targeted accounts aligned with the sub-vertical, and leveraging regional and global strategies.
• Develop and present business cases to explain assumptions, investments, and operational costs to the Global Sub Vertical Manager.
• Become proficient in PSA BDP's IT suite of tools to lead system demonstrations and discussions.
• Support and mentor the Control Tower team to optimize workflows and performance.
• Develop regional pipelines for growth, support the BD Sales Network, and demonstrate value in closing new business.

Role Requirements:

• Deliver the vertical and new business development strategies.
• Establish and own KPIs, recommend process improvements, and ensure timely achievement of targets.
• Maintain customer relationships, identify new markets, and foster continuous improvement.
• Attend training and seminars to maintain professional knowledge.
• Identify gaps in procedures and systems.

Job Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of ocean freight and CFS warehouse operations.
• Experience in freight services and serving global retail customers.
• Strong operational process documentation skills.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills within a matrix organization.
• Results-oriented, customer-focused, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel globally (up to 40%).
• Minimum 5 years operational experience in global freight forwarding/logistics, with at least 2 years in CFS warehousing and related operations.
• Proficiency in English and local language skills.

This role is open to being based anywhere in Europe.
